Common questions

Things people
always ask us.

No. That’s the whole point. Return it dirty, smoky, and used — exactly as you found it in the field. Normal wear is covered. We clean, inspect, and restock every kit after every rental. The only time we’d charge for cleaning is if there’s something way beyond normal — think motor oil, not campfire ash.
No — sleeping bags and pads are not included in any kit and are not available as individual rentals. Guests bring their own. This is clearly noted at booking and on every kit listing. If you need recommendations on what to bring, we’re happy to help.
We recommend at least 48 hours in advance for pickup orders and 72 hours for campsite delivery. Same-day pickup may be possible depending on availability — contact us directly to check. We can’t guarantee same-day requests but we’ll always try.
All rentals include a $15 damage waiver that covers accidental damage from normal use — a tent stake bent, a zipper that gives out, a pot handle that cracks. What it doesn’t cover is loss, theft, or intentional damage. If something happens during your trip, contact us right away. Don’t wait until return.
Yes — that’s exactly how it’s designed to work. Book a kit as your starting point, then browse the individual items to layer on what you need. Extra chairs, a second headlamp, dry bags, a different stove — it’s all available. Items are priced from $2.50/night with no minimum order.
If your campground is within roughly 50 miles of Fort Smith, contact us before booking and we’ll check it. The list isn’t exhaustive — we’ve delivered to sites not on it before. If it’s too far out of range, free pickup from a Fort Smith area location is always an option.
The minimum rental is 1 night. There is no maximum — rent for a weekend, a week, or a month. Pricing is per night and is shown during checkout. Longer rentals may qualify for a discount — contact us directly if you’re planning an extended stay.
All major credit and debit cards through Stripe — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. A security deposit is held at booking and released within 3–5 business days of return, pending inspection.
